The Nitty Gritty of Moving Abroad

Exciting = the idea of moving abroad

Frustrating = the actual execution of such a move

When was the last time you opened a new bank account? Or closed every single other account you had? Or had to deal repeatedly with credit cards being suspended despite the travel notification in place? Or had to explain to your toddler that this bathtub is different than the one at our old home, but this bathtub was still nice and there is no reason to continue having a meltdown? #firstworldproblems

We walked almost the whole way to the bank today before I realised I left the cashiers check at home. It was a beautiful tour of Notting Hill, though!

Tomorrow is my first day at work, fingers crossed they’re nice to the new kid!

PS Happy Birthday Mom!

I have a feeling the baby’s meltdown wasn’t so much about the new bathtub but about the new EVERYTHING!

Hopefully the credit cards will adjust themselves. So you had your first walking tour of Notting Hill!!! Glad it was a nice your seeking as how you had to repeat it rather soon!! It was nice hearing from you but pictures would also be nice. We really don’t care what you look like just seeing all of you is enough. Good luck tomorrow.
